Our housing contracts last for 12 months, running from the beginning of August until late July, coinciding with the University of Miami’s academic calendar, so residents have plenty of time to settle in before school starts.
An individual housing contract is a per-room housing contract, meaning you sign a contract for your bedroom and shared common areas, such as the living room or kitchen. This means resident will not be held liable if their roommate misses a payment or transfers to a new school.

Installment payments are due on the first (1st) of every month and are considered late if received after 9 a.m. on the fourth (4th).
